7 Best Investing Books for 2024

I am an avid reader and have read dozens (hundreds, maybe?) of the best investing books over the last 20 years. While there are several common themes in many of the books I’ve read, I believe the 7 investing books listed below are where every beginner or intermediate investor should start.

The books below focus on general investing concepts, including why low cost ETFs are a great option for many investors, how most famous (and now  wealthy) investors started the same way you and I did (only being able to invest what we could afford after all monthly expenses were paid).

Many of my recommended investing books cover how to identify, evaluate and ultimately buy shares in fairly-priced companies with low debt, growing revenues, positive free cash flow, and future growth opportunities. If you’re considering, or already using the hybrid investing approach for your own portfolio, these books are a must as you add new asset types, and select individual stocks to buy and hold.
